There are newspapers everywhere. We found that passengers don't usually consider newspapers as waste and leave them lying around as a courtesy to other passengers. In fact, this is bad for the environment and can cause delays on public transport. It doesn't have to be this way. Why not kill two birds with one stone? We call it the BinPoll. A joint initiative of Metro and TFL that aims to eliminate all that un-recycled paper. How? We run a weekly vote where your Metro becomes your vote and bins become ballot boxes.
This will create content for Metro in the form of gauging public opinion and data collection that is essentially free. It will also act to encourage people to properly dispose of their free newspapers.
